How to Care for Your New (Synthetic) Wig
Synthetic Wigs are an amazing alternative to Human Hair, without the high price tag. Here are some of the benefits of wearing Synthetic Hair:
1. Low Maintenance and Style Memory: Not only is Synthetic Hair more durable than Human Hair, but holds a curl for much longer. Styles are essentially "baked" into synthetic hair, so with proper care and maintenance, you'll be able to wear the same style until you're ready to create a new one. Synthetic wigs are a great choice for performers who plan to wear wigs time and time again without having to spend time re-styling.
2. Color Vibrance and Longevity: Outside of natural hair colors, synthetic hair can be produced in bright vibrant colors that would be difficult to achieve and maintain for human hair. Furthermore, coloring on synthetic hair doesn't fade.
3. Cost Effective: When compared to human hair wigs, synthetic wigs are incredibly cost-effective. They're perfect for building a collection of wigs to suit your needs.
Synthetic Wig Care Tips
-Always start brushing the ends of the hair and work your way up towards the lace. When you begin brushing at the top fo the wig, you run the risk of creating tangles and knots at the ends
-While our wigs can be styled with hot tools up to 350 degrees, we highly recommend using a steamer when styling our synthetic wigs. Steam allows you to curl and straighten the wig, without running the risk of burning or melting the fibers.
-If possible, store your wigs on a wig head. If not, brush out any tangles, place the hair net provided with the wig, and store carefully in a drawer.
Please note: Once you receive your new synthetic wig from Shop Will Beauty, be sure to inspect it for any damage or irregularities BEFORE cutting the lace and/or trying to style in anyway.
Once the lace has been cut and/or the wig has been styled in any way, the wig is non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged. Shop Will Beauty cannot accept responsibility for any damage done to our wigs in the styling process, so PLEASE be extra careful to handle your wig with care. While all of the lace front wigs in our shop are high quality, they can still be fragile.
